Taman Desa Medical Centre (TDMC), which is licensed by
the Ministry of Health, was opened to the public in May 1996,
with a total build up area of 64,000 square feet in Taman Desa,
a large suburb in Kuala Lumpur.
TDMC was officially opened on 7th January 1997 by YAB
Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah bt Dato' Dr Wan Ismail, wife of the
then Deputy Prime Minister.
TDMC has 128 in-patient beds, 3 operating theaters, labour and delivery suites, special care nursery, a high
dependency unit, a pharmacy, a cafeteria and a radiology centre
including CT scan, x-ray and ultrasounds facilities.
TDMC provides a full range of healthcare services
including general medicine, cardiology, E.N.T, gastroenterology,
obstetrics and gynecology, aesthetic, plastic surgery and
radiology.
